Graue Mill Waterfall
The current project of the Conservancy is to preserve the picturesque Graue Mill Waterfall from demolition.
Discussions between the Forest Preserve District and the Illinois EPA are on going about the water quality in Salt Creek. The Conservancy arranged for an environmental expert to provide solutions to the water quality issue which do not involve removal of the waterfall. The Conservancy's efforts in this regard are to be helpful to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County while preserving the picturesque waterfall for the public.
The Landmark Conservancy had board members in attendance on March 18 and March 31 in Oak Brook on the issue of the Graue Mill dam and water quality in Salt Creek.
